Description:
This 2-story residential apartment, completed in 2020, is a comprehensive project that includes master plan development, facade design, and interior design.
Design Approach:
The project site presented a major challenge due to its irregular, multi-angled surface. To overcome this, I introduced a diagonal facade geometry that visually balanced the structure and turned the challenging angles into a strong design feature.
Facade Concept:
A minimalist design approach was adopted to meet the client's needs while maintaining visual clarity and functionality. To align with sustainable values, I used earth-tone brick for the primary surface, travertine stone as refined borders, and flamed granite on the lower level. The granite base not only anchors the structure but also distinguishes it from the main volume, especially given the street slope alongside the site.
This project reflects my dedication to merging simplicity, sustainability, and site-specific solutions into elegant architectural outcomes.
